Who could have guessed???

It turns out, after extensive review of the California Attorney General's Registrar of Charitable Trusts, that Twin Valley Learning Center is unique, or close to it. Of the 7,947 non-profit trusts whose mission is elementary or secondary education, we couldn't find any others that do what Twin Valley does. Other agencies, for example, provide educational services exclusively to students with a specific disability (e.g. dyslexia, deafness), or use group instruction, or focus on one subject (e.g. pre-school) or use a volunteer staff. Twin Valley Learning Center is the only California non-profit tutoring agency we could find that provides substantially subsidized, one-to-one tutoring in all school subjects, to needy and deserving students, K through college, by paid professional, credentialed teachers. We're one of a kind!
